My research interests include Environmental Technology, Satellite and Geospatial data Analysis, Cybersecurity, and Agentic AI.
Current research projects
Offline verification of Self Sovereign Identity
An extension of my undergraduate thesis on offline verification of self-sovereign identity (SSI). The project explores approaches for enabling identity credentials to be verified securely in environments with no internet connectivity. The proof of concept has been completed, and the work is currently being further developed toward publication. Supervised by Dr. Md Sadek Ferdous.
Agentic AI for Structured Data Extraction from Arbitrary Excel Schemas
This research addresses a real-world data engineering challenge encountered during a project at Blandan Infotech: extracting structured information from Excel workbooks with inconsistent, complex, and arbitrary schemas. The proposed solution leverages agentic AI to automatically understand workbook layouts, identify relevant tables, generate extraction logic, validate outputs, and transform heterogeneous spreadsheets into standardized structured data with minimal human intervention. A proof of concept is currently under development, with the objective of evolving the system into a robust framework for intelligent document and spreadsheet processing.

Parallel vote tabulation for Netra News
A Parallel Vote Tabulation (PVT) platform for Netra News, built to publish verified results from more than 42,000 polling centers during Bangladesh’s 13th National Parliamentary Election. I led the frontend development using Next.js and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), integrating live APIs into a national-scale results experience featuring constituency maps, seat distribution, turnout, and real-time updates.

NAP Metric for Nordisk Avfallspool
NAP Metric is a micro-service architecture based end-to-end carbon accounting platform. I designed the initial architecture in 2022 and shipped the first five production versions, then led technical development from 2025. The system tracks waste and emissions across processes and transport. I also designed and developed an agentic PDF and Excel data extraction system with LangGraph, LangChain, and LLMs for workbooks with arbitrary schemas.

Scorespec
Scorespec is an AI-powered IELTS preparation platform I co-founded. It delivers timed mock tests that simulate the computer-based exam across Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking, with instant AI grading and personalized feedback. I collaborated on product design and architecture, and built full-stack features with Next.js, NestJS, OpenAI API, and Gemini API—including assessment workflows, authentication, REST APIs, and production deployment.
